I’d love to see more speed limit signs posted around the neighborhood. People often race up and down our block only to be stymied by the stop sign to the north and the traffic lights to the south at Locust. It would also be good if the light at Locust and Fratney could have the timing adjusted so that N/S traffic doesn’t have to sit for so long.

How about a traffic light at North Avenue between the River and Oakland? There are tremendous amounts of traffic in the late afternoon and I can wait more than 5 minutes because of the way the Humboldt and Oakland lights are timed and the traffic that turns onto North Ave from those streets.

Some of the business owners on Center Street have mentioned to me that cars on Center Street go too fast and a traffic light or stop sign at Fratney would help.

I think we need signs on Locust St. that say, “Do Not Block Intersection.” Too many times during rush hour, cross traffic cannot get across Locust due to drivers parked in the middle of the intersection waiting for the light to change.
